Simple Sentiments

I have a few cards to share with you today. They are super quick and easy cards to make. They use the newest JFF Sentiment Stamps 3 and 4, a few dies and embossing folders.

These cards can be made in bulk so you can have them on hand for any occasion. We all know you can never have too many cards on hand.

You can find these stamps and many more in the New Arrivals section on the web site.

Please help us spread the word about our new blog and Facebook page. When we reach 100 likes on our Facebook page we will have a giveaway! Now who couldn't use some new rubber in the house?

Happy Stamping!

Easter Blessings

Hello Everyone!
I hope you're all having a wonderful day.

Today I wanted to share a fun technique that is a bit time consuming but really adds so much to your projects....

Rubber Stamped Paper Piecing

You will notice in the photo below that the main image
(one of the New Arrivals)
is made up of many different layers...

That is because I stamped the same image on three different types of cardstock.
The first image was stamped on a piece of brown cardstock using Coffee Archival Ink - I cut the cross out of this cardstock.
The image was then stamped on plain white cardstock with Black Archival Ink - this layer was used for the flowers which were colored using Distress Stain and markers.
Finally I stamped the image a third time onto pearl paper using a grey ink which is what I used for the cloth that is draped over the cross.

While this technique isn't something you'd want to attempt for a card that you would be making in large quantities it is perfect for making a unique and beautiful card for a special occasion. I hope you give it a try.

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Easter

Easter will be here before we know it so I have a card to share with you today.

My card features the Love U Bunnies image along with the Happy Easter sentiment. I just colored the tips of the rabbits fur with Copic Markers and added a bit of pink to their ears and noses.

Be sure to check out the New Arrival section over on the JFF web site.

Enjoy!

It's Spring!

O.k....here in Indiana it actually feels like summer (it's been in the 80's for the last several days!!!) but it's Spring on the calendar so I thought it would be fun to celebrate this shift in seasons with flowers.  Crocus to be exact!  I have a few blooming in my garden at the moment so this stamp fits the bill nicely.

This card was created using the following Just For Fun Rubber Stamp images....
Crocus - G3159
Star Border - Unknown
"Thinking of you" from Sentiments #1 - UMS7018

And these additional supplies...
Distress Inks
Distress Stain
Niji Waterbrush
Double Stick Tape
Georgia Pacific Cardstock (white)
Coture Cardstock (colored)
Ribbon
Gelly Roll White Pen

If you haven't already be sure to stop on over to the Just For Fun Rubber Stamps site ~
They have just added all of the New Release images for March!!!
A little birdie told me you'll be sure to find at least 2-3 images you can't live without ;)
And there are a few special images & sentiments
for all you Master Shoppers (myself included) out there!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

I know it's still a bit early but today I wanted to share a fun St. Patrick's Day card with you...

It was created using the following Just For Fun Rubber Stamps:
Celtic Background - H1676
Claddagh - B1677

I love the Celtic background image.
The script is beautiful and with a bit of ink you can turn a simple piece of white cardstock into something that looks like a page that was torn from an ancient book!

Of course the Claddagh is a perfect accompaniment for St. Patty's Day -
doesn't get much more Irish than that!

I hope all of you have a wonderfully fun St. Patrick's Day....
