Today's project is a card for a Mom patterned after another great sketch by Linda.
I used the technique of over-stamping this time. To do this, lightly stamp the image--just enough so that you can barely see it--then color it in using whatever medium you prefer. Once the color is added, boldly stamp the image again as close to the original impression as possible. Use a stamp positioner for best results.
If the final impression is slightly "off register", so much the better! Your design will take on a 3-D appearance.
To finish off the card I printed the letters "M-O-M" in a typewriter font and then punched them out and glued them in place.
