Happy Halloween!!

Hello all, how are you today? It's only two days left till Halloween! I'm here to share some last minute Halloween card idea with you, it's still time to get it done and use it for gifts giving (since the time is too tight to send by mail unless you send it with express delivery - hehe). Don't worry, it's the thoughtfulness that counts! :)

Here is the card:
I stamped one stamp in another, to do that you have to stamp the pumpkin's stamp above on a scrap paper and cut it out (no coloring required).  Stamp the same stamp on a white card stock, color it and use that cut-out to block out the stamping for the larger stamp.

Stamped Bat's silhouette from JFF. To stamp bat individually, ink the stamp and block the other silhouettes with tape.

Happy Halloween title from JFF too!

Don't wait, start creating! :) Thank you for stopping by, Happy Halloween!

Eclectic Garden

Happy Friday! Ellie  here today, it's my turn to share a creation with you!
For today I decided to use the beautiful stamp "Stamptangle Eclectic Garden". The image has been heat embossed onto copic blending card and then colored using copic markers.

Since it's a rather large stamp I decided to keep the card simple. I just inked the bottom portion with distress ink, and added the sentiment and some twine. I also applied some glitter to the flower centers.

You can find the JFF products here:
Friends are Flowers sentiment

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to stop back soon for more inspiration from the Design Team.

Have a fabulous weekend!!

Beware! Monster Mummy!

Happy Wednesday!! It's Alexia here today to share a Halloween card with you. Have you gotten your Halloween crafting done? I still have plenty left to finish, so many projects so little time! Anyway, today I'm going to show you a card I created using JFF's Monster Mash Mummy stamp (if you are interested in this stamp, check out the link at the end of post), I love this stamp so much because it's so cute and perfect for Halloween!

Here is the card:

I colored it with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, torn up some patterned paper and use it as background (misted some black inks onto the paper as well).

I also embellished the card with a pair of googly eyes to show it's peeking out from the dark - creepy or cute? :)

The title is also from JFF and it's head embossed in white. I hope you like this card, it's simple and easy to make!. :)

Thank you for your time and I wish you have a wonderful day!

Happy Autumn ♥

Hi everyone!
Kelly here from the DT with today's happy Autumn greetings!
Isn't this a gorgeous time of year ~
the beautiful turning of the leaves, the crisp coolness in the air
and the feel of Autumn on each corner.
Today's card is using the simply gorgeous stamp Fall Corn Swag.

I've colored it with prismacolor markers
and added it to a card base of autumnal papers
and a few similar color buttons -
allowing this beautiful corn husk and acorn stamp to be the focal point.

On the inside, I used one of the sentiments "thinking of you" from
the Unmounted sheets word sets.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Stamping hugs!

Salem Witch and Trick or Treat

Salem Witch

It's Roxie here today to show you a couple of Just For Fun's Halloween silhouette images.

The image panel was created using the sponging technique with distress inks.  I stamped the trees with Memento ink and the witch with StazOn ink because it's thicker and will cover the tree line image so no masking needed, I use a stamp positioner in case I need to stamp again.

For each bat I punched out two shapes and used foam tape to connect them then tacky glue to attach to the card.

For the faux brads I cut from black paper 1/8" circles using a die, cover them with Aleene's Paper Glaze and if you want them to shine cover with Copic marker.  They are attach with tacky glue.

Images: Just For Fun Rubber Stamps:  Salem Witch, Winter Tree Line
Paper: AC Cardstock - purple, Bazzill - yellow, The Paper Company- black, unknown white
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink: Rusty Hinge, Walnut Stain, Black Soot, Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Memento - Tuxedo Black, StazOn - Jet Black
Tools: Perfect Paper Crafting - Perfect Layer 1/16" and 1/8" rulers, Martha Stewart - bat and web punches, Scor-Pal - embossing lines around the purple panel,  Cuttlebug - Tiny Tags die

 Trick or Treat

Another background created with sponging.  Once the sky colors were down I added the moon by punching a 1" circle from scrap paper to create a mask and placed it on the panel and used the direct to paper technique and rubbed the ink pad onto the panel.

Next I stamped the images using the two inks as described in the witch card.

To get my ground area darker I masked off the sky and used the direct to paper technique.

Paper: unknown white, Remember When - black
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink - Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, Brilliance - Moonlight White, Memento - Tuxedo Black, Staz-On - Jet Black

Just Add Color...

Hello!!  Happy Monday!
Its Kim B (A Gypsy Angel)

Today I used a stamping technique called Crayon Resist Technique.  Using a white crayon, color over the part of the background that you want to keep white then rub over the background with distressed ink with blending sponge .  I used watercolors for the watercolors.
The tag is distressed using tea and cinnamon.
The rubber stamp is Add Color.
Have a wonderful day!

Live out Loud

Happy Friday, and thanks so much for visiting!

Ellie here today, it's my turn to share something with you. I hope you like it. It has been some time since I used my dylusions inks, so I decided it was time to get inky again for today's project :-)

All stamps are by Just For fun, I also used a dotted stencil. Besides dylusions inks I also used distress inks, as the green that I have was too bright (like on the top portion of the card), so I inked the edges a little bit with an earthier shade of green (peeled paint).

Hope you enjoy your weekend!!

Bird on a Pumpkin and a Bewitched Cat

Hello Just For Fun Friends! Nancy Y here today sharing TWO cards for Halloween.

For this first card I used the Medium StampTangle Pumpkin, a bird from the Pair of Birds stamp, and some fun bright colors. I created my own patterned paper using cardstock, ink, a stencil and an emboss resist technique. To complete the card I added some twine and a small round tag with the number 31 ~

Supplies Used:

Pair of Birds ~ A3574 ( I used one bird )

Archival ink ~ Jet Black, Distress inks ~ Dusty Concord, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, white gel pen, stencil, clear embossing ink, embossing powder, rub-ons (31), round tag, twine, and white cardstock.

Finished card size is 4.25 x 5.5 ~ A2

 Bewitched Cat ~

To create this card I quickly rolled some ink onto the cardstock using a brayer, sprayed it with shimmer mist just over the brayered area, then added a few splatters of ink using a wet paint brush. Each layer was dried with a heat tool.

Next I stamped and heat embossed the Witch's Broom, then did the same with the Scardy Cat. I then stamped the sentiment, mounted it to cardstock, and attached it to a card base that I had already dry embossed. I finished it off by adding some white to the cat's eyes and attaching a few sequins.

Supplies Used:

Witch's Broom ~ D3429

white cardstock, midnight cardstock, embossing ink, embossing powder, Distress ink ~ chipped sapphire, archival ink ~ jet black, brayer, shimmer mist ( I make my own with Pearl Ex ~ for this mist I used antique silver, gum Arabic and water ), white gel pen, embossing folder, and a few sequins.

Finished card size is 4.25 x 5.5 ~ A2

Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope I've inspired you to get inky!

Happy Stamping!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone!
Kelly here with a card showing you yet another way to use a Pumpkin!
Pumpkins are the quintessential bounty we often see at Fall ~
from carved pumpkins to the table d├ęcor and delish pies.

For my card today, it's gracing the front of this card to
show gratitude at Thanksgiving ♥
It's also an easy way to 'craft on a budget'
and help get the kids involved in your holiday card making.

This card was created using an easy background of orange craft paint,
and a summer beach sand sifter!
Who knew!
Crafting should be fun and memorable ~
including using things you have right there around the house!

This fabulous Stamptangle Pumpkin is colored with prismacolor
markers, stamped in Momento (black) and
the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment is gracing the banner.
Both are available in the shop -
take a peek!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Halloween Cards

Roxie here to show you a couple Halloween cards.

Here's an easy card created with the masking and sponging techniques, I first masked off the moon with a circle cut from a sticky note then sponged on the lavender around the moon and then the purple.  Stamped on the trees and witch and the panel is ready for assembly.

Tools:
Spellbinder oval dies and circle die for moon mask, Perfect Layers for cutting 1/8" borders, Martha Stewart border punch, Cuttlebug spider web embossing folder.

Supplies:
Images: Just For Fun Rubber Stamps -Winter Tree Line, Tiny Witch on Broom, Sentiments 1
Paper: Paper Hallow (local store) - purple, K&Co. green and strip, Basic Grey - orange
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Lulu Lavender, Grape Jelly

While searching for embellishments for my first card I come across this resin frog and thought it was just the right size to pair up with the witches hat, I think the frog is pretty stylish in the hat!

I colored the hat with artist brush, water and Memento Markers for ink: Lulu Lavender, Grape Jelly, Tangelo, New Spout.
The images were stamped with Memento - Tuxedo Black ink.

Images: Just For Fun Rubber Stamps - Witch's Hat, Stamptangles Leaf Flourish sm, Sentiments 1
Paper: Paper Hallow - purple, solid black, K&Co. - designer papers, watercolor paper

Supplies: Xryon - dots to attach the resin frog, foam tape to attach the hat, Diamond Stickles on the white dots, black glitter glue on black die cut circles on each large dot (cut with Sizzix button dies), Perfect Layers for cutting 1/8" borders
