Cafe Vin

I turned this fun Cafe Vin image into a piece of faux Stained Glass using IMAGINE Crafts StazOn Studio Glaze!  I simply stamped and embossed the image, filled in each section with a bit of Studio Glaze and let it dry!  The depth created by the Studio Glaze is amazing...

In the Mountains and By the Sea

Hi everyone! Ellie here today to share something "Just for Fun" with you :-)
I actually have two projects made up for today. Hope you like them.

First up is this mountain scenery card I made. I used a simple torn paper mask for my mountains and meadow, and kept the mask in place to stamp some of the trees int he background. I thought it needed some color, so I added red rhinestones to mimic flowers.

Here is the JFF product list:

Up next is a travel themed card.

This card was so quick to make! I simply stamped the background onto white card stock, trimmed the edges (it's a bit larger than a regular sized card front). Then stamped the filmstrip twice (the stamp is about half the size of a card front), adhered onto my background, and then added the boat. I chose a black, white and turquoise color combo, but with this beautiful background stamp, I think you can go black, white and any other color too, to create a beautiful set of cards.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope you enjoy your weekend!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is around the corner, have you started making any cards yet for Mother's day yet? If you are not, not to worry I have this card to share with you today! Hopefully it gives you some inspiration to make one for your beloved mom this coming special day!

I used one of the rose stamp, stamped it in different tones and colors. Outlined them with black markers and colored the white background in bright gold (although it looks a bit like yellow). The center square was masked out for sentiment later, the sentiment which is also JFF's stamp. It gives you kind of a dimensional feel although it's an one layer card.

The embellishments are paper flowers, to add more dimensional look to the card.

Check out the brushed rose stamp below and the square frame, aren't they fantastic combination to create card?

Circles and Daisies

Just in case you were falling asleep, here's a card to wake you up, I so enjoyed coloring the background and letting it standout as the main image.  It was created using one of the images from the 4 sided Background block 3 RB7008.
I started stamping at the upper left corner and worked my way down and across ending up in the lower right corner, very quick and easy to stamp.

I then added the new Scribble Flourish/Background/Fireworks E3817 and colored a few closed lines with green to act as a plant base for the Daisy D2639 image.  The daisy images were popped up with foam tape.

To add the black inside the image border I used two Spellbinder nesting dies to cut it out, lined it up and held it in place with painters tape then glued it down with tacky glue.  I thought the card looked as it were missing something and this worked out perfectly.

A Poppy and a Bee

Happy Friday everyone, and thanks for stopping  by here today!
Ellie here today, my turn to share a new creation with you. Hope you like it :-)

I used the beautiful stamp "Gathering Pollen" on today's card.
The frame is not part of the stamp, it was one more recently released stamp from JFF, and I thought it would work really well with this stamp. The frame was stamped first, then I stamped the flower to fit the bloom inside the frame. The bloom was stamped again onto xpress it blending card and colored with copic markers, then fussy cut. I adhered it then with pop up tape, but it's  hard to see in the photo. I colored the inside of the frame using a copic marker. The red and white striped paper is vellum paper. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of card stock and then attached to my card. The only embellishment is glitter.

Stamps used:
These are all available in the JFF rubber stamps shop. Don't forget you can choose from unmounted, cling mounted and wood mounted. Whatever you prefer!

Thanks so much again for your visit. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and

Happy Stamping!!
