Design Team

Sandy Sandrus: Design Team Coordinator

Since a very young age, I have always been a creative person. You could always find me making birthday gifts, Christmas decorations and I even designed my own wardrobe. I guess you could say I am in my element when I’m in my studio being creative.  I have been a paper crafter for over 16 years and just love taking raw materials and creating something wonderful. And the best part is sharing with others that enjoy paper crafting. You can find me teaching classes at the local stamp store or at the two StampFest conventions held each year in Florida.  I’m married to my high school sweetheart and best friend for 41 years, we have two wonderful children (a daughter and a son), and the best part is having two beautiful grandchildren. I just love being a grandmother.

Veronica (Roni) Johnson (Albion, Indiana), a life long artist is the author of the daily rubber stamping and altered arts blog - InkStainswithRoni.  Ink Stains is a technique and project oriented blog with something new going on all the time. Any given day you might find cards, altered arts or collage projects, incorporating a variety of inks, paints and glue with a little experimentation thrown in for good measure.

Roni is also the author of “Teach Yourself Visually Collage & Altered Arts”. A technique oriented book that encompasses a wide variety of projects, mediums and artistic genre including: Aging Techniques, Paper & Paint Collage Techniques, Image Transfers, Creating your own Altered Charms and much more. Her art work can also be seeing in two previously published in TYV publications - Teach Yourself Visually - Scrapbooking and Paper Crafts Visually Quick Tips.

In addition to the blog and collage book Roni also designs for various manufactures and retail companies in the rubber stamping and altered arts fields including Ranger Industries, Streuter Technologies, Queen Kat Designs, and Hannah Grey Curiosities & Drygoods.  Her works have been published in several rubber stamping and altered arts magazines such as Stampers Sampler; SS Take Ten; Paper Crafts; Paper Crafts – Stamp It!; Altered Arts Magazine; Vamp Stamp News and most recently in the Publications International book – Christmas Crafts 2009. Roni’s projects have also been used in product advertisements; as on-line projects and placed on display at national craft and hobby conventions.

When she isn't creating Roni enjoys spending time with her family on their small farm in rural Indiana, scouring various flea markets or antique malls for unique vintage finds, reading and pursuing her love of photography.

My name is Janine and I live in central North Carolina with my husband Hal and our son Brandon.

I love all things related to paper crafting and enjoy sharing my expertise with other paper crafters. I love to spend time with my friends, stamping and scrapping. We take road trips looking for unique stores and products not found at our local stores. Then have fun creating special designs for cards, scrapbook pages, home d├ęcor, gift items and more.

I started rubber stamping in 1995, added scrapbooking in 1996 and have been hooked ever since. For 9 years, I owned and operated a scrapbooking and rubber stamping store in Greensboro, NC., called Memories in the Making. Since then, I’ve been on a number of design teams including Spellbinders Paper Arts 2009-2010, Mosaic Moments, Elemental Doodles, and Clearly Clever. Currently, I design for Just For Fun Rubber Stamps and McGill Inc..

I live in sunny SW Florida with my husband of 21plus years, my 2 beautiful daughters Katie-17 and Taylor-14, my 2 dogs Lilly and Penny and my cat Stitch.

I started papercrafting over 8 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it.  It is amazing to see how my style has changed over the years.  When I am not creating I am working a full time job and teaching classes at a local stamping store as well as enjoying many school activities with my 2 daughters.

This is my first design team and I am very excited to be a part of it.  Thank you Just for Fun for giving me this opportunty!
