Two for One - StampTangle Celestial Montage

I have another two for one card comparison to share with you this time using the Celestial Montage image.  As difference as....

and Day....

Night was stamped on black cardstock with VersaMark ink then embossed with Queen's Gold Embossing Powder.  It was colored with a variety of metallic markers I had in my stash.  Day sky was colored with Distress Stains and watercolor markers.  The sun and moon were then colored using Spectrum Noir colored pencils and metallic markers.

Changing Leaves ♥

Good Morning!
Kelly here from the DT :)
Have you ever had this much fun with buttons?!
I sure did!
One of the most glorious times of year is the "Changing of the leaves",
especially for those fortunate enough to live much further North.
There is something so profound and tangible when Autumn arrives ....
from the delightful new crispness in the air, the leaves bursting into a kaleidoscope of colors, big comfy sweaters, Pumpkin Spice Lattes!
I love Autumn and the beautiful promise that this time of year holds ♥

I thought way outside the box with my card today ~
and had an absolute blast doing so!
I sat, sorting through my huge containers of buttons
in every color, shape and size.
I inked up the uber fabulous Stamptangle Tree stamp from Just For Fun stamps
(stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black), gave it a quick monotone brush of color with Prismacolor markers (walnut, light umber)
and glued down a variety of 'leaves = buttons' for a unique Fall look!
The deeply etched rubber makes for a great, clear stamped impression.
And so versatile!  I can picture this stamp being in the 4 seasons -
back again for Winter, snow clinging to the branches to the
beautiful blossoms of Spring.  The possibilities are endless.
Thanks so much for your visit today!
Big hugs,

Home Decor Frame

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I’m sharing a home d├ęcor frame that I made using this beautiful JFF’s Sun, Moon and Stars stamp! When my husband saw this frame, he requested to have it so he can put it in his work office! My husband is very supportive of my passion for crafting but he is not a very artsy person himself, meaning he doesn't appreciate art as much as we all do. So for him to be falling in love with this piece of art that I made, I'm beyond happy! Thank you JFF for making this beautiful stamp!

Stamped and colored with alcohol inks

Frame is from Michaels store, if you choose to use the same frame I suggest to add a little weight to the bottom of the frame as the frame itself is too light to withstand wind blow or simply gentle force. :)

Two for One - StampTangle Eclectic Garden

Hi Friends - today I wanted to share two cards made using the same flower stamp - StampTangle Eclectic Garden!  I just love this stamp because you can use so many fun color combinations to change the look.

For the happy DAY card I used a combo of pint, yellow and blues.  This was colored with both Distress Stains (background & butterfly) and Spectrum Noir Colored Pencils (flowers & stems).

For my second card "Friends are flowers" I went with various shades of orange and a bit of yellow Sharpie Markers.  Color really does make quite a difference doesn't it?

Dragonfly in Flight ♥

Hi everyone!
Kelly here from the DT stopping by
to share with you a dragonfly card ~
quick and easy from start to finish!
I wanted to show you another approach to stamping ~
I stamped out the gorgeous stamptangle dragonfly
onto newsprint, right from the recycle bin
(I adore the 'waste not want not' greener approach!)
My card base was made from smaller pieces
I had in my scrap paper bin
and the lovely dragonfly still remains the focal point of the card.
I'm also a big fan of decorating the inside of my cards
so I kept the theme flowing and used a Just For Fun sentiment,
wavy Thinking of You.
And that's it for today!
Have a wonderful weekend ♥

Love You Everyday Layout

Hi all, Happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a layout I created using some JFF Stamps. First of all let me introduce you to my daughter, Eva (short for her full name Evangeline). She is our little angle, sweet and beautiful. We love her very much although sometimes she drives us crazy! :D

So here is the layout:

First I stamped and embossed some cornflower images in the background in white color, this makes the images stand out a lot on the black card stock.

Then I stamped the stampTangle butterfly and colored it with alcohol inks, cut it out and use it as embellishment on my layout.

It adds so much life to the layout!

Thank you for looking, I hope you like the layout. Have a great day! :)

Asian Spider Mum

Roxie here to share a quick and easy card using the Asian Spider Mum along with decorative tape, simple paper piercing and borders.

By cutting the image with a die that is a little larger than the image's black circle I made it appear to be three layers including the bottom pink.

You can find more card info on my blog post HERE.

If I had a single flower...

Good morning and thanks for visiting!
Ellie here today, with a quick post sharing my newest Just For Fun creation.

The beautiful floral stamp was heat embossed using a versamark ink pad and clear embossing powder. Then  I used an ink applicator to apply distress inks onto the card. It's a simple sketch. I just cut the image panel at an angle, added my sentiment and then adhered it onto a white card stock for a clean and simple card. I added a strip of white card stock over the image to finish it off.

Products used:
Tim Holtz Distress inks (peeled paint, broken china)
versamark inkpad, clear embossing powder
black archival ink
recollections card stock 110lb

Have a wonderful weekend!!
