Pumpkin Patch

Happy Friday!!
Ellie here today, my turn to show you something new. Hope you like it!
All stamps on today's card are by JFF. I had exactly this card in mind when I sent in my stamp selection. And I am really happy how it turned out :-)

I started out by inking the background using broken china and peeled paint distress inks. Next I stamped the fence using walnut stain ink, and then stamped the dried flower stalks using so saffron ink. The pumpkin image was stamped onto copic blending card and then colored with my copic markers. As you can see I fussy cut the image and then adhered it onto the background using dimensionals. Thought a little bit of twine would look cute so I tied a bow onto the sign.

Hello Everyone!
Kim B (A Gypsy Angel)
I used the Stamptangle Dragonfly 2 (E3745) rubber stamp found HERE
Using watercolor paper as my base, I painted watery stripes of colour in complementary shades, which blended at the edges as they settled and dried then stamped over the colors.  Added perfect pearls to the dragonfly and few bits of glitter.  Added the HI bubbles and card complete.
Have a wonderful day!!

Just Keep Swimming! ♥

Hi everyone!
Kelly from the DT here today
showcasing the Fancy Fish stamptangle stamp ~
swimming along waiting for the weekend ♥
I stamped out the Fancy Fish onto the designer paper in
this bold orange color to showcase the gorgeous lines and detail.
I added to the card base with a few pearls as "bubbles".
I propped up the fish on 3d foam dots to give it some dimension -
here, sideways you can see it pops up.

I love that line from one of the funny kids movies
(I'm sure most of you have heard it!) that says
"Just keep swimming ..."

Truly life at times can bring those moments where you have to do just that!
Keep onward,
think happy thoughts and
craft on! :)

This stamp along with MANY more wonderful ones to chose
are all available in the shop -
be sure to take a peek!

Thanks for stopping by!

Lone Tree

Happy Wednesday from Roxie!
To create this sky I started at the bottom and sponged on the the following colors of Ranger Distress Ink in the order listed here: squeezed lemonade, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, festive berries, shaded lilac, broken china, chipped sapphire.

Next the Just For Fun - Lone Tree image is stamped with Memento - Tuxedo Black ink, I then lined up my torn paper mask to the ground portion of the image covering the sky and extended the ground area by rubbing the ink pad directly onto the paper.

I then tore scrap paper like you see below and sponged on cloud formations and note the second from the top clouds were sponged after using the mask with red ink lower on the panel so even though I used sapphire ink to sponge this cloud, it picked up the red from the paper to create the highlight of red on in the cloud.

Other tools: Memory Box - Texture stencil, Perfect Paper Crafting tools for cutting borders, Cuttlebug Tiny Tags die to create the faux brads (they are attached with Aleene's tacky glue and covered with Aleene's Paper Glaze)

I hope I've inspired you today and have a great time creating!

Embossed Stamptangle

Hello and happy Friday!

Ellie here today, sharing my newest Just For Fun creation with you!
I simply love this large floral stamp, and though it would look amazing embossed with white, so that is what I did here.
This card was so quick and easy to make, and I can see it done with lots of different color combinations.

I simply stamped the large floral image onto my card stock using versamark ink, and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. Then I inked it up with distress inks and an ink applicator tool. I tore some white card stock for my sentiment and added it over the card. I finished it off by adding a couple punched butterflies embellished with sticky rhinestones.

Product list:
recollections 110lb card stock, SU colored card stock
versamark ink, distress ink, archival ink
butterfly punch, rhinestones

Hope I inspired you to get inky. If you love this stamp then be sure to check out the rest of the amazing stamptangle stamps in the JFF shop, they are so much fun to create with!! And while you are there be sure to check out the rest of the amazing stamps in their store!

Happy Wednesday! Alexia here today sharing a home decor project (a recipe card hanger that also serves as a fridge magnet) using JFF Stamp. Not only the stamps are great for making cards but also great for mixed media projects.

I stamped and heat embossed the stamp image on a white plain flower with white embossing powder and colored it with distress inks.

Not only it keeps your recipe cards organized but it serves as a decoration for your fridge. :)

It comes with a cloth pin on top so you can access specific page of your recipe cards anytime, flip and pin!

Brushed Wildflowers

I used the acrylic block watercolor technique for this background: rub the ink pad on the acrylic block, mist with water and place on the watercolor paper.  I repeated the step twice using all colors.  Once you're happy with the look, let it dry then stamp on the silhouettes and this Brushed Wildflowers image was perfect for the technique. Keep in mind every paper will react differently.

I extended the image about 3/8" on the lower right ground area by masking with torn paper and rubbing the black ink pad directly to the card panel.

The Thinking of You image is from the  Sentiments 1 unmounted sheet.  This sheet has a sentiments to fit most holidays and every day occasions and I used it often.

Inks: Ranger Distress Inks, StazOn - Jet Black

Stampin Up - banner punch
Spellbinder - border die
Perfect Paper Crafting - Perfect Layers Mini and craft knife for cutting borders
Scor-Pal for double line embossing
