It's a Cupcake Kind of Day!

Hello all crafty friends! It's Alexia here, it's my turn to post today and I'm happy to share this birthday card with you! Like I mentioned in my previous post, I have been playing with water-color lately so I did some experiments with this watercolor paper. This time I'm doing heat embossing with watercolor.

Here is the card of the day, yes I'm also fascinated with bright colors lately. ;) I heat-embossed the cupcakes images using JFF's Cupcake stamp in clear embossing powder then water-colored the cupcakes before filling up the background.

Cherry Confetti Cupcake
...Cupcake Kind of Day

I absolutely love the sentiment although the stamped cupcakes in the background already says it all. JFF also has other cupcake stamps, check them out and you might just find your favorites!

I want to thank you for taking your time to visit JFF blog today and I hope you like the card! Happy creating! -Alexia

Thinking of You

Hello everyone and thanks for visiting! Ellie here today, I am so excited to show you today's card, as I used several of my new favorites here to create this collage type card.

I started out by stamping, coloring and fussy cutting the long stem rose. While fussy cutting I realized it wasn't actually necessary to fussy cut, I could have just stamped it directly onto my white card stock instead.
In the background I used the gorgeous address stamp. And I simply designed my card around the address stamp. I finished it off by stamping the "Thinking of you" in black ink and added the punched out butterfly.

JFF Product list:

don't forget you can get these stamps either wood mounted, cling mounted or unmounted rubber, which saves you a lot of $$.

Have a great day and

Happy Stamping!!

Roxie here to show you a couple valentines using non traditional colors. I really like the way this first card turned out with the pale colors and elegant flourishes.  Love this heart image and it worked well with the border images whic come as a set of four and I used two for this card stamping the lines first and using a stamp position to line up the spatters.

Images: Just For Fun Rubber Stamps: 4 Sided Background Block, Dot Heart, Sentiments 1
Paper: Bazzill - light teal, unknown white
Ink: Ranger Big and Juicy - Gum Drop, Memento - Tuxedo Black
Tools: Perfect Paper Crafting - Perfect Layers Mini for 1/8" border using an Xacto knife for cutting, Scor-Pal for embossed lines, Stampin Up embossing folder for base design, Cheery Lynn flourish die
Accessories: foam tape, Aleene's tacky glue to attach the flourish die cuts

I had a bit of fun coloring the hearts with Chameleon Pens and misting the background paper with Ranger Distress Spray Stains.  These hearts are so easy to cut and stagger across the card.

Rise When You Fail Card

Hi all, I hope you are having a good day! This is Alexia and I'm here to share a water-colored and stamped with beautiful JFF Stamps with you! I have been playing with water color lately so here is another water-colored card. I purchased some Strathmore water-color paper recently and I love the result very much. I used the cold press water color paper on this one, the paper has this bumpy texture to it that makes your project looks even better.

So here is the card, I used the jumping girl silhouette stamp for this card and the sentiment is also from JFF! Love the sentiment, it's motivating.

I colored the background with Tim Holtz distress inks.

JFF Stamps Used:

Thank you for visiting my post today, I hope you like the card and decide to give this water color paper a try (if you haven't already). Also, don't forget to get some JFF stamps, absolutely gorgeous designs for your projects!

Row of Houses

Good Morning and Happy Friday! Ellie here today, sharing my first JFF creation of the New Year.
I am very excited to continue as a Design Team member for another 6 month!

There is something about the stamp "Collaged Row of Houses" that I absolutely love and it was something I had chosen for my first Design Team packet.
This was a very simple card to make. I just cut out some "hills" using old designer papers and an old oval template. Next I stamped the image, colored and fussy cut. The houses actually connect in the stamp, but I wanted to use them separately. The background paper is also a very old designer paper from my stash. Sentiment is by JFF as well. It's perfect to cut apart and adhere the lines to the card or mixed media project separately. To finish it off, I simply added a prima flower with brad and a punched out butterfly with some sticky pearls.
Here is a closer view of the houses.

JFF product list:

Don't forget all stamps are on sale for 40% off. Until January 15th. You choose from wood mounted, cling mounted or unmounted. These are such great quality stamps!

Thanks so much for visiting!
Stay warm!

Palm Sunset

Roxie here, it's very cold right now in the northeast section of the US and I'd much rather be in this setting on the card than where I am today, but I can only dream!

I used the masking and sponging techniques to create the scene starting with the water. I punched a one inch circle from sticky note paper for the sun then sponged on the sky colors and used what was left in the sponge to go over the sun once the mask was removed.  To form the clouds I tore sections out of scrap paper; if you need a visual/photo check out this blog post. The black was stamped after the sponging was completed using a stamp positioner and stamping several times to get a good coverage.

The brads are actually die cut circles attached with Aleene's tacky glue and covered with Paper Glaze.

Paper: Stampin Up Whisper White for image panel, Die Cuts With a View yellow, teal and designer paper, Remember When black

Ink: Ranger Distress ink - salty ocean, squeezed lemonade, mustard seed, spiced marmalade, Memento - Tuxedo Black

Tools: Perfect Paper Crafting - 1/16" and 3/16" Perfect Layers Mini, Perfect Cutting Mat, Cuttlebug Tiny Tags die for circles
