Pocket Card with Tag

Happy Friday, Just For Fun Rubber Stamps Followers and Visitors!
Ellie here today, my turn to share something here with you.

I decided to ink up the gorgeous stamp Societe Du Louvre and create a pocket card. I hope you like it:-)

All I did for the tag was create the watercolor wash background, stamping in black ink, and layering the cut out  tag onto black card stock.
To make my watercolor wash, I inked up a clear stamping block using distress inks, spritzed it with plenty of water and then stamped onto watercolor paper. Fun and so easy to do!

As you can see above, I stamped the tag image again onto a watercolor wash scrap, and cut out just the butterfly to create a 3d effect.

I thought this tag would make a cute bookmark too, so decided to make a pocket card for it, instead of just adhering it to the card. I made my pocket from vellum.

I finished it off with the sentiment which I added with black brads.

You're a Whoot!

Happy Wednesday!! This is Alexia here and I'm just popping in to share a card that I created yesterday! I was going to make a card for Chinese lunar year of goat but I was so busy preparing everything else I didn't have time to make one. So yesterday I decided to make this card using the owl stamp instead. I love this silly looking owl, too cute! And again, perfect sentiment from JFF!

To create this card, I first embossed a tree pattern using embossing folder from Darice and water colored it. Next will be stamping and coloring the owl, this part is fun! I used Copic this time instead of Spectrum Noirs alcohol markers, it appeared that I'm more used to using Spectrum, maybe because I have the entire collection so it's easier to match colors.

I hope you like the card today, JFF has a lot of fun stamps and matching sentiments you might be able to find something you like! Thank you for taking your time to check out the blog today, I wish you have a great day! - Alexia

I did a color wash of light blue on the watercolor paper and let it dry naturally. Then I did lots of coloring and cutting to create the scene.

The images waves and bubble circles were attached with Aleene's tacky glue except for the fish, the top half of the seahorse and the top of the highest kelp leaf which were attached with foam tape.

Queen Anne's Lace - two cards

Happy Friday! Ellie here today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
For today I made two cards, they are made using the same technique and stamps but are slightly different.
I just love this silhouette stamp! So pretty and these stamps are so easy to make quick cards with! I simply put a mask in place before inking the card so create the circle. After removing it, I stamped the silhouette image in turquoise ink and then in black. And I did some stenciling in two of the corners. Finished it off with a couple small butterflies.

Same technique here...but I also used some torn paper for the hills.
These were two quick to make card, and I love how they turned out.

Valentine Shaker Card

Happy Wednesday! Thank you for taking time checking in the blog today, I'm happy to be here to share a card for Valentine with you! Valentine's day is next week, will you be celebrating it with your loved one? I created the following shaker card for this special occasion, love the sentiment from JFF!

I used a single stamp and stamped it as two separate messages, the one on top and the one on the bottom. To do this, simply ink your stamp and use a piece of tape to cover the part where you don't want it to be stamped on the card. Do the same to the other part of the message.

Small and Large Daisies

I stamped the StampTangle Pattern Block image and intended to color it but my choice of ink color just wasn't going to work for me and since I can't let anything go to waste I found a new way to use it.  Once I cut the angled panel for the first card I had to put the opposite cut to good use too and I found a way to use the negative border die cut also.

The small pink flowers:

Hello there!!

                                Its Kim B (gypsyangel)...

I have always loved cupid!  So who was Cupid....

Cupid, one of the gods in Roman mythology that controls love. He is the Roman counterpart to the Greek god Eros. His name comes from the Latin word cupido, which translates to “passion, desire, yearning, wanting, or longing.” However, in Latin, Cupid is known as Amor. The Latin word means “love, infatuation, or passion.”

Regardless of your belief in cupid, you have to agree he is adorable!

My card for you today:

Cupid embossed with gray silver embossing powder and Love embossed with clear powder.

Winter Berries

Roxie here and our new fallen snow with it's beautiful drifts inspired me to create this card.  They are so pretty from inside my warm house!

I did some masking and sponging to create the scene using distress inks , punched sticky note circle, and torn paper.

To create the shadows I used the stamp positioner sheet which helped me place the images and flipped it over, lined it up to the image and carefully placed it on the panel and I was satisfied with how it turned out.
