Sunshiny Days (w/ background stamps)

Hi Guys! DT member Jen from Scrap Shack Designs, here today to show off some super summery, super easy cards. Now, earlier this month I showed you how to create a really cute background using inks, if you missed it you can find it here. Well today I am back to show you how to use some really cool background stamps for just that, a really cool background.

Both cards use the exact same paper line from Echo Park. This was a paper kit so along with the paper it also came with some banners and stickers. In addition to the paper kit I also used 2 Just For Fun background stamps, some CTMH blue burlap twine, and CTMH white gem dots.

On this first card, I wanted the shoreline stamp to stand out so I kept the design simple.

I love the "Beach-Seashore" stamps from Just For Fun and this one paired with the paper line perfectly. This stamp is called Pier Silhouette and I simply stamped it onto some whisper white cardstock, which was matted onto blue and then layered onto the base piece of the pattern paper.

The "Seashells" die cut came straight from the paper pack and was adhered to the card front using 3-D foam tape. Prior to adding the sentiment die cut I decided to wrap around some blue twine.

This next card came together just as easily. I took the boat sticker and the "Sunshiny day" sticker right from the paper pack. I also used a lot of layering on this card, as well as a blue A2 card base.

That awesome stamp is from Just For Fun and is called Surf's Up. Instead of stamping this stamp onto white paper I stamped it onto a lightly patterned piece from the paper kit.  I then finished up this card by adding those white dots.

Well thanks for stopping by today! Hope to see you back here soon. Don't forget to play along with our monthly red, white, and blue challenge.
