Off the Cuff Art Journal!

I thought I'd try my hand at a "junque journal" after I saw a video by Johanna Clough making one out of a cardboard cookie box. I immediately went to my pantry and found an almost empty graham cracker box, dumped out the last pack of crackers and opened my monthly Club Scrap kit. An hour later I had an art journal!

I decorated the cover with the JFF Stamptangle tree and Art word art. I stamped the tree image on blue card stock with embossing ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. I fussy cut it out with a craft knife and adhered to the cover and embellished with some of the gems from the Club Scrap Mumbai kit. I stamped the word art and matted it with some coordinating card stock. I can't wait to start filling it up with some fun art techniques!

Be sure to check out our monthly challenge!
