Retro Swimsuits

Hello from designer, Heidi.  I have one last summer card to share with you.  I love these Vintage Swimsuits and just had to paper piece them. I think I would totally wear this style suit with these fun patterns!

Happy Stamping!

Have a blast ...

Hi everyone Steph here today sharing a new card using some great stamps available from the store to create my card.

Using a stencil, I created the background.  After inking the panel with brown ink, I added the panel to a green card.

The Daisy was stamped and fussy cut, then colored with Memento Markers. I placed it atop a large oval that was added to the center of the card.

The phrase was stamped, matted and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by.

Calm Seas

Hello! I hope you are having a good day. It is April here showing you a card I made using the Pelican On Piling Silhouette  and Wishing You Calm Seas stamps.

I made this background a few weeks ago by mixing white glitter acrylic paint with some Oxide sprays on my craft mat. I smooshed the card stock in this mixture. I love the texture that it gave to the background. I stamped the image over the background and added blue enamel splats for interest.

Our challenge this month is -- Dog Days of Summer. We hope you will join in.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day and keep cool!

Whisper to the Butterfly

Hi everyone Steph here today sharing a new card using some great stamps available from the store to create my card.

The Cattails image was stamped with brown ink on blue cardstock.  In the center, I added a large dark blue oval and stamped the Up Up @ Away stamp on a white oval.  The panel was added to a dark  dark blue card.

Butterflies were punched from Rinea Foiled Papers and added around the oval center.

Thanks for stopping by.

There is just a little time left for our By the Water Challenge.  Hope you have had a chance to enter!  If not, click over here to the challenge to submit your entry.

I’d like to share this flamingo card as one last By the Water card.  These are so fun and summery. I have a friend with an August Birthday who is going to love them.  I colored this stamp with markers and then added loose pink and blue glitter to certain parts of the image. It is fun!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flamingos in light pink and put this fun sentiment over top. It leaves just enough room to put a little greeting inside.

Have a wonderful day!

Many Thanks

Hi! It is April here today. I am showing an easy way to use this Friends Are Flowers stamp without having to color a lot. Sometimes I do not want to spend the time to color every detail!

I used the smoosh technique to add Distress ink colors to the background. I stamped over the colors and brought out some of the flowers using my Spectrum Noir glitter markers. Sequins were added to the centers of the large flowers. The saying is from the Sentiments 3 unmounted sheet.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you are having a wonderful day!
