Birdie Valentine

Hello from design team member, Heidi!  I am so glad you are here because I have this very sweet card I am excited to share.

I colored up several of these Fashion Warbler stamps the other day.  I have the small version but there is a large stamp in the JFF store too.  I decided I would make one into a Valentine.

I added a thick layer of glossy accents over top of the colored bird.  After it dried completely, I trimmed him out.  I thought this patterned paper and a hot pink cardstock was the perfect way to turn this all-occasion bird stamp into a Valentine.  The hearts are confetti I saved from a party.  

The sentiment is from Unmounted Sentiment Sheet 3 - such a cute sentiment, too! (It can also be purchased separately.)

A Bird in the Window

here to share my JFF Stamps images with you again.

You may recall that January is all about the birds for me.
If you live in the south, you know why I am so preoccupied with birds.
So many migrate through and say hello along the way.
I love walking in the mornings and listening to the bird songs.

I chose Small Warbler again for my card today 
and this time paired it with a fancy fold card.

I needed a masculine card and thought the brown granite

embossing powder and the designer paper as a background

might not seem as feminine even though I think the window is really nifty.

Hope the recipient agrees!

This is a gate fold card with some fancy die cutting to get the 

window and designer paper liner effect.

In Florida, we don't have snow and we still have greenery

so our birds keep arriving all winter from the North

to share our milder temperatures.
